And so it begins....

Well, I guess the time has come that I finally have to remove my belly button ring! Ok, fine, it's been 10 years, I need to get over it ;) I'll be 30 in a year and a half :0 - what business does a 30 year old with a kid on it's hip have having a belly button ring. I know, I know.

So, as my wordless Wednesday suggests, yes, I am expecting. WE are expecting. I am the one who is pregnant! I am the one with this spawn recking havoc on my body at the moment! And I am the one who has been absent from her blog for weeks now because the last post was a recipe with pictures....and because a lot of blogs I follow are foodie blogs.....and because even the mere thought of food, at the moment, makes me want to puke and then die. Oy!

This will be our first [human] child! I say 'human' because I think one of the first things my mom asked when we said she was going to be a grandma again was "To an animal or a baby?"

And, as usual, like everything else we do, we'll certainly be novices in this department. Running a farm AND caring for a child? Oy! Lord help me now.......

For starters, I would like to know who created pre-natal pills that are large enough for a HORSE and leave a vanilla taste on your tongue??? Do you think a nauseous, hormonal pregnant woman wants to swallow THAT?

I digress.....

Oh my goodness, Allison, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'm so happy for you both...as a mother of two teenagers 18 & 16...I can barely remember my pregnancies but I wish you a healthy & happy pregnancy and a speedy & safe delivery! By the way the nausea, it will go away soon!

Now, don't go "MIA" on us now that your mind will be filled w/all things baby! I read all your posts (in my google reader) even though I might not comment all that often! So, keep on blogging!

So happy for you! xoxo Beth
