Seriously. Didn't you know shoveling manure out of the stalls if one of the most stress relieving, peaceful things to do after a long a$$ day! I am not joking. Throw in a glass of wine and holla - PEACE at its finest!
And, for the ever resourceful -- a summer muck boot! Here's the thing. Muck Boots rock. I can wear them w/o socks in the winter and my feet stay warm. But, in the summer, when it is 90* out, it gets a tad warm. So to help keep cool, I simply roll down the boot ;) Kinda like a built in air conditioner. Because, when I would just wear flip flops to clean the stalls (no shame here), my husband said that was gross. *Sigh -- pu-lease!* But, secretly, sometimes I still do just wear flip flops!
