Patriotic Preview

The Fourth of July is a big celebration for us. Always has been. And for the past 4 years, it's become even bigger since hubby and I host it on the farm.

Tradition states, I mean, as tradition follows, hubby and my bro-in-law, Jay, go every year to purchase fireworks for their annual pyro display.

Honestly, I think this is in hubby's Top 5 things he waits all year for! This year, they left the house at 7:30a to head out. As I understand it, they were at the store before the doors were even open!

Jay and Allen pose proudly with their goods. I was still in my pj's when I snapped this pic.

And as tradition states goes, the boys align all their fireworks just so, and then I take the pictures. This year, a 3rd boy has been added to club.

And it seems he's welcomed with open arms! (while I have an anxiety attack!)

LAWD help me!

Looks like boys with toys!!OMG. I'll probably be able to hear the "booms" all the way here. That looks like some really big amo.. You know how us country folks are, we'll just go out back and shoot our guns!! Little one in the last photo looks like he just can't wait to be a part of the group. Be safe, have fun! Debi
