15 Months - the Babe

These photos are from throughout the week, but I can't believe today my little man turned 15 months old!

15 MONTHS!

Seriously?

This was him just last June! 

*gasp* He is so tiny!

Now look at him! He 'rides rollercoasters!' 

He walks all over the place...

No really, like, wherever he wants to go. I just follow!

And he is already practicing his seat for when he is able to get on the his own real horse!

The Greenhouse, Year 2

Last year was the Babe's first trip to a greenhouse for some plants for the garden.

This year was his second time, and my, how things change!!

Mother's Day 2012

Mother's Day is pretty low-key around here - if you call tilling up 3 new gardens to add to our 2 established ones, 2 of which are about 10x30 for pumpkins and watermelon and squash, low key!

Ok, okay. So that is actually what hubby did today :)

There are so many things no one can prepare you for once you have a child. And it is funny - now I find myself doing things - little, subtle things that I noticed my mom would do. And now I get it. 

So, cheers to my Mom and to all the other Mom's out there! 

Every day should be 'Mother's Day'!

The Berry

And those ears....poor kid. He got Daddy's ears! ;)

This is why I told Daddy we don't buy Strawberries out of season -- they just aren't as sweet!

Almost 14 Months

This boy LOVES the tractor!

And he LOVES to be outside...without shoes on....or socks....

Just all of a sudden, yesterday, he decided to walk - crazy!

And yes, the lunch box is his motivation.

And yes, he prefers to not be clothed!



Birthday Recap

What a wonderful Birthday Weekend we had :)

I'll just say one more time, I can't believe my baby boy is already ONE! I guess I have to start calling him my 'toddler boy'!

The 'toddler' had more presents than he knew what to do with!

One year ago today, I met my baby boy for the very first time!

My how time flies!

Today Allen & I took the day off from work so we could be with our little guy. We celebrated his birthday by taking him to the zoo! And tomorrow, we'll celebrate with family and a birthday party!

I am pretty sure his favorite part was the fish...just like his father ;)

The Helper

I am not sure if I mentioned or not yet, but someone turns 1 this week!

I've been busy, when I am home from work and done with all the regular to-do's, trying to tidy things up for the big birthday bash!

Someone has grown right before our eyes. Now he is Daddy's Little Helper with everything!

This babes favorite past time was playing in the bathroom vanity drawers so I am not sure he was too happy about this project - child saftey locks for the drawers = no more playing!



And hubby wasn't happy about a pair of scissors I had in one of the drawers...

Are those duck pants ca-ute or what? Better get good use out of them now - a few more months and he won't want to be caught dead in them!!



Final Inspection over Daddy's work! Everything looked good!





Sunday Smiles

Someone has a big day coming up this week!

Just a few more days until he enters the 'single digit' age club :)

He already looks too grown up!

Growing like a Weed

This babe turned 10 months on Monday.

10 MONTHS!

How did this happen so fast?

He is daddy's little shadow whenever possible - so come Spring time when we can get back outside, Daddy is going to have his hands full :)

And somehow, I seem to think, Daddy is looking forward to it :)

*Disclaimer: My Aunt bought the babe his first BB gun [pictured here] when he was a MONTH old.

 It's an official Red Rider Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!

And if I have my way, he won't use it until he is 30!

Ho Ho Ho

This is one kid who wasn't afraid of Santa.

In fact, he tried to put his fingers in Santa's mouth, rip off his glasses and poke his eye.....



He's been a very good boy this year :)



The Basket
