The First Frost

This past Saturday morning, while the East Coast was being pummeled by a snowstorm, we have our first visit from Jack Frost!

Here are a few early morning photos I snapped. These are SOOTC - straight out of the camera...

The Gerainiums

Sage

Zinnia's

The Orchard

Something really beautiful about those complete hard frosts. Definitely spells the end of most of the garden for the year but beautiful none the less.

I am so jealous of the frost!! It was in the high eighties today and we were wearing shorts and flip flops in november!! I love SOOTC pictures - they are rare these days.

You really had a very good frost. It looks very cold. I like the way it looks in your pictures early in the morning. Still can't believe all the snow that fell in the northeast. Yikes!

Those pictures make frost look like something I would enjoy.
